Diesmal in Kombination mit Gelb – was echt klasse aussieht!
Hello and welcome to my third turn as a guest blogger in the Farmer’s Wife 1930’s Sampler quilt-along! I will be showing you how to make block No. 59 which is called Mary! I chose to use some yellows along with a black 1930s repro print – such a striking color combination! Just as last time, I used the fabulous From Marti Michell Templates and the irreplaceable rotating cutting mat by Sue Delay Designs, they are just so great, especially when cutting small pieces! Our quilt along host Angie of GnomeAngel made Mary using the paper piecing method, check out her tutorial here. In her tutorials she uses a lot of fabrics from our sponsor Fat Quarter Shop, where you can find a huge selection of the most beautiful 1930s prints! And now enjoy my tutorial!
