My new fall quilt patterns are here – first up the Acorn quilt block! This iconic symbol of the season is also featured in the Fall sampler quilt I will be hosting a little sew along for – come back tomorrow for all the infos!
The quilt block patterns contain diagramed step-by-step instructions to make a 12″ x 12″ (33 x 33 cm) and 6″ x 6″ (15,2 x 15,2 cm) block as well as specifications to make a lap size quilt with 20 large blocks and a mini quilt with 9 small block. The blocks are pieced traditionally using the Easy Corner Triangle Method to create the figurative shapes – no hand sewing or paper piecing involved!

Heute zuerst der Acorn Quilt Block – ein typisches Herbst Symbol dass natürlich nicht fehlen darf in dieser Runde und das ein Muster des Fall Sampler Quilts ist, für den ich einen kleinen Sew Along veranstalten werde – alle Infos dazu morgen!
Die Quilt Block Anleitung beinhaltet eine grafische Schritt für Schritt – Anleitung zur Herstellung eines Quilt Blocks in der Größe 12″ x 12″ (33 x 33 cm) und 6″ x 6″ (15,2 x 15,2 cm), sowie die Angaben zur Herstellung eines Lap Size Quilts mit insgesamt 20 großen Blöcken und eines Mini Quilts mit 9 kleinen Blöcken. Die Blöcke werden nach traditioneller Art auf der Nähmaschine gepatcht, die figürlichen Formen entstehen mit der Easy Corner Triangle Methode, ganz ohne Handnähen oder Paper Piecing!
