Hallo und willkommen bei meinem Stop auf der Made for Baby Blog Tour! Ich habe mich total gefreut, als Ayda Algin von Cafenohut mich eingeladen hat, an der Blog Tour ihres ersten Buches Made for Baby – Cute Sewn Gifts, teilzunehmen! Als großer Fan ihrer wundervollen Arbeit war mir klar, dass dieses Buch etwas besonderes sein wird – und ja, jedes einzelnen Projekt ist einfach zum niederknien! Ob als Geburtsgeschenk, für einen Babyshower oder fürs eigene Kindchen, es ist für jede Gelegenheit etwas dabei. Die 22 Projekte reichen von schnell und einfach bis etwas aufwendiger und größer und werden mit verschiedenen Techniken hergestellt, die ausführlich im Buch beschrieben werden. Ich habe mich direkt in den House Wall Organizer verliebt und natürlich Stoffe aus meiner neuen Kollektion Arbor Blossom verwendet – die Clamshell Dachziegel eignen sich einfach perfekt, um die einzelnen Muster ganz bunt miteinander zu mischen. Da mein Kind schon groß ist, werde ich dieses Kleinod wohl irgendwann verschenken – aber erst wenn ich den Anblick eingehend genossen habe…!
Made for Baby erscheint bei Tuva Publishing, einem Verlag aus der Türkei, der ganz wundervolle Handarbeitsbücher im Programm hat.
Hello and welcome to my stop at the Made for Baby Blog Tour! I was thrilled, when Ayda Algin of Cafenohut invited me to the Blog Tour of her first book Made for Baby – Cute Sewn Gifts – being a huge fan of her wonderful work, I knew this book is going to be special! And it is just so inspiring and truly beautiful with projects to die for, every single one! Whether you’re invited to a baby shower, need a cute handmade birth gift or just want to make something pretty for your own little one, there’s something for every occasion. The 22 projects range from quick and easy to more complex and Ayda used several different techniques that are described in detail. I fell in love with the House Wall Organizer immediately it’s just so very cute! Of course I used fabrics from my new range Arbor Blossom, and I just loved making those clamshells and mixing the different prints together! I might give this treasure away as a present, since my little boy is a school child now. But first I want to enjoy it myself, at least a little bit…!
Made for Baby – Cute Sewn Gifts is published by Tuva Publishing (based in Turkey), who have brought out some pretty amazing craft book titles.
